The best part about this time of year: successful hunts. Clay is a moose killer and a proud one at that. He got this bull on Oct. 6th. They saw a cow moose first, so Clay got off his horse ready to shoot. When this bull walked out he took a shot without hesitating. It was a kill shot. We were happy to see them come home with a full truck! This bull measures in at 33, so Clay is happy with it. Macy is still talking about Daddy and the moose. She is showing us in this pic (with her guns) how Daddy shot it.

What are you going to kill next??? We're proud to have such skilled hunters in our families... Maybe Ben and I will be gatherers and then we'll be the perfect bunch for an emergency situation:) We love you guys are are sure proud of "the big kill!!"
