Emry's 3rd Birthday

Our Sweet Emry turned 3! She wanted an elephant birthday party. Her request was actually to have "an elephant cake with bad guys killing the elephant and blood coming out." !  Here is the CUTE cake I made instead.  There were no complaints.

We had a fun circus party with lots of friends over. The kids all got tickets they could use to get their face painted, to do an elephant peanut toss game, get some cotton candy and corn dogs. We played "one elephant went out to play." It was a fun time!  Our little Emry is growing up!

Birthdays

In January Macy turned 5! She is looking and acting so grown-up. She is a great helper with her little sisters. She is soooo excited to go to school in the fall. She wanted to have a flower garden ("mud") birthday party. Her cake was a dirt cake (with pudding, gummy worms, and crushed oreos in a flower pot). We had fun with several friends over for the party. Grandma and Grandpa Kennington were able to be there so that added to the fun.

Our baby is one! To celebrate Adrie turning one in Feb we had a fun little party and had a teddy bear cake. Grandma and Grandpa Pokorny were here for the special event. Adrie liked the cake and was cute blowing out the candles!

Macy and Emry have this on-going story line that they play every day for the last few weeks. They call it "Princess Annalese." Macy is the princess and Emry puts on the full armor and is her dad who kills all the bad guys. Here is a pic of them playing. They play like this for hours!

Thanksgiving 2011

Our biggest Thanksgiving blessing this year was getting to see ALL of our parents and siblings. What a blessing! Here is the Kennington family. We went over to Star Valley on Wednesday just over night and had a great time with the Kenningtons. Then all of the Pokornys came to our house from Thurs. to Sat. We took family pics and of course enjoyed Thanksgiving food. What a great time. Andy's new little puppy, Sebastian, was a hit with the girls. They are still talking about him. Here is the Pokorny family picture. It was so great to see everyone! Here are the pie shirts I made my Dad and Zach since they both Love pie!

Antelope Hunt

It is already hunting season! Here are pictures from our annual antelope hunt. All the Kenningtons come to our house for the event and we had a "blast!" Clay and I each got an antelope. Macy says mine was the stinkiest! It was a fun day.

Trip to South Dakota

Over Labor Day weekend we took a road trip to South Dakota to visit Grandma and Grandpa Pokorny. The girls traveled so well and we all had a good time. We got to visit a cave in the Black Hills and see Mt. Rushmore on the way. Grandma and Grandpa took us to Storybook land. The girls loved it! Emry is still talking about the carosel and Macy loved following the yellow brick road to see Dorothy. We have fun memories of the trip.

"Tutu" Cute!

These are the adorable skirts Jamie made for the girls. They all love them. It is always dress-up time at our house!
Here are our puppies. They are 7 weeks old now and all sold! The girls have loved them. ...Except for when they chase Emry accross the yard and tackle her like in this pic. They are like little piranas when they gang up on her. They tug at her, knock her down, and then lick her face. Then Mom has to come to the rescue. Macy is not so defenceless...she sends them down the slide and carries them all around.

Welcome Adrie Dee!

We are so happy to welcome our newest daughter, Adrie Dee into our family! She was born on Feb. 9, 2011. She came on her due date and all went well! She was 8 lbs 3 oz and is just strong and healthy. Adrie is a sweet baby and has a calm disposition. What a blessing she is! Her big sisters think she is really special. Macy wants to hold her all the time and Emry wants to help out too. We have all adjusted well and are enjoying this special time. There is a lot of pink at our house, but Daddy is handling it well. We feel so blessed!
