1st Day of School

Summer is over. School is in session. These girls were so excited to start a new school year.  Macy is a big girl off to 2nd grade. I can't believe she is so big. I can remember 2nd grade so well. Now I am a mom of a 2nd grader!  Our sweet little Emry is off to kindergarten already. She is so excited and ready.  She can't wait to meet new friends. Still, it was hard to let her go. Adrie was sulking all the way back home. She will miss her big sisters! I know it will be good for Adrie and Jentry to have more one-on-one time with Mommy though.

We were so lucky to have Jamie and her crew here to visit!  We had fun with the cousins.

Memorial Day 2014

We enjoyed a family hike to the petrified forest in the "badlands."  It was the perfect length for the girls and we all had a great time.  It was so good to be outside and enjoy nature.  It is a tradition to pick shale lilies to put on the family graves in Star Valley.  We miss that tradition being in ND.  We were so surprised to find this shale lily on our hike! It helped us remember family members who have died.

Birthday Time!

Macy is 7 years old! She chose a "Winter Wonderland" birthday party.  She invited several friends from school.  We played pin the nose on the snowman, made penguin and snowflake crafts, had a dance party, ate "snowballs", "snowmen noses," and had a hot chocolate bar. It was a blast!
