The Word Is Out!
We are happy to announce that baby Kennington #3 is on the way! We are so excited to welcome a new little one. The due date is Feb. 9, 2011. I have been sooooo sick all summer, but am starting to feel better now. We survived thanks to Clay for doing all of the cooking and dishes, and changing dirty diapers when possible to save me from puking...again! We also spent a lot of time in Star Valley where "Grandma Honey" and everyone was able to help take care of all of us. Macy kept telling me, "Mommy, I'm sorry you are so sick because you have a baby in your belly." And Emry saw me throwing up so much that she started spitting in the toilet to mimic me. We are just so happy to be coming out of that stage. Now my belly is growing and I have even felt the baby move! We are not going to let the gender be a surprise. We didn't know with the girls either and just love the suspense. Now we just have to buy a new car in the next 5 1/2 months!

May 2010
We took a fun trip to Utah recently. It was our goal not to have to go shopping the whole time, but to do fun things with the girls. We went to Temple Square on Friday night. Macy loved the escalators, which she has never seen (there are none that we know of in the whole state of WY!) and she loved the statue of Jesus. A huge highlight for her was to stay in a motel. She thought it was so cool. Emry didn't like it so much and had a hard time going to sleep.

On Saturday we went to a bounce house which was so fun for the girls! Macy was a big kid and went on all of the slides and obstacle courses by herself. (Macy has a big black eye in all of these pics because she ran full speed into a table at Clay's work). Emry loved it too. They were both so worn out by time we went to Eric's wedding at the temple that they both slept through it. After the wedding we went to Star Valley for our newest nephew's baby blessing. Trayson is such a sweet baby. It was a fun weekend. We enjoyed time together not working for once.

Emry's 1st Birthday!
Our baby turned one on April 11. This year has flown by. I'm a little sad to see Emry grow up...she has been such a great baby. We have really enjoyed this stage. We had a monkey birthday party for her because she is interested in monkeys. She likes to do the sign for monkey and make monkey noises. Grandma and Grandpa Pokorny got to come to our house to celebrate her birthday. Jeanene and Curt came too. Grandma and Grandpa Kennington came through later in the weekend. It was special to have all of the grandparents in one weekend! Emry loved her party. I made her a jungle house out of a big cardboard box. It has provided lots of entertainment since the party too. Macy was a good helper at unwrapping gifts. It was exciting for both of them. My parents brought this cute monkey outfit. It was perfect for the birthday girl. This is the monkey cake I made. Emry knew just what to do! She blew out the candle right on cue! It was so perfect. She is such a doll. We feel so blessed to have this sweet girl in our lives and have loved every minute of this first year with her!

Macy is 3!
Happy Birthday to Macy! We had a fun party celebrating Macy's 3rd birthday. She wanted a "Pink Moose" party. I had fun making this pink moose cake. We had the kid party on Friday. Musical chairs with 3-year-olds is a little tricky. They liked the sensory station. I made "moose snot" with this green slime of Macy's and "moose fur" with a stuffed animal, "moose brains" with cold spaghetti and "moose poop" with whoppers. They also made moose from marshmallows, pretzels and chocolate chips. Then they followed the moose tracks around the house to find the treasure which were bags of goodies. It was a fun time.
On Saturday we had a family party w/ grandparents and all. It was special. She loved the gifts and all the attention. We got Macy some pet fish because we thought it would be fun for her. Well, only one of the 3 have survived. She kept sticking her hands in the water. One we found decapitated and the other one...well, we never found it. I don't think she caught it and fed it to her little sister, but she claims she did. Maybe we should have waited a few years for the fish thing. Oh, well.
